While hearing the case regarding Presidential reference on deadlines for the President and Governors' clearing bills, Supreme Court mentioned the 'Gen Z' protests in Nepal and Bangladesh's student-led protests. "We're proud of our Constitution...see what is happening in our neighbouring states...Nepal, we saw," CJI BR Gavai said, following which Justice Vikram Nath added, "Yes, Bangladesh also."
