Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla's mother, Asha Shukla, said, "It is a big day for all Indians...and especially for us...We are incredibly proud that such a brave son was born in our home." Shubhanshu, on a 14-day mission to the ISS, will conduct seven India-specific experiments. He is part of the Axiom-4 mission, marking India’s return to space after 41 years.
