Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub Khan has been removed as Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly. Opposition Leader in Senate, Shibli Faraz, has also been removed from his role. This comes after an Anti-Terrorism Court convicted them in cases related to May 9 riots, leading Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to disqualify them from holding public office.
