Pune Police issued an order banning the filming and sharing of images or videos of Ganpati idol immersions from September 4 to September 15. The order stated that sharing such images "could hurt the religious sentiments and disturb public peace" and that "violators will be prosecuted under the relevant sections." It comes ahead of the main immersion day on Saturday.
