An MBBS doctor and two others were arrested by Pune's Anti-Narcotics Cell in Bibwewadi with 56 grams of mephedrone worth ₹15 lakh. The doctor, earlier suspended for a similar offence, was caught again near Hotel Nimantran. Police seized the drugs, a car and mobile phones. All three are under investigation for distributing the drug to known contacts.
