The Pune government plans to start compensating farmers for land acquisition for Purandar Airport by November-end, offering ₹1 crore per acre plus double value for assets like houses and borewells. However, farmers from seven affected villages have rejected the offer, demanding higher rates, around five times the ready reckoner rate.
