The Pune City Traffic Police have introduced an AI-based traffic violation detection system on Fergusson College Road. Implemented on a trial basis, it uses AI-powered cameras to monitor offences like illegal parking and wrong-side driving. The system analyses live CCTV footage and generates real-time alerts, allowing authorities to penalise violators instantly without any manual intervention.
