An anti-encroachment drive has been underway at Sinhagad Fort in Pune since May 29, 2025. Due to manual demolition of illegal RCC structures and safety concerns, the fort will remain closed to all visitors, including trekkers, on June 3 and 4. Authorities have urged public cooperation as work nears completion amid challenging weather and terrain conditions.
