Punjab government reportedly cancelled licences of 40 travel agents amid deportation of Indians who had illegally entered USA. These agents would demand unreasonable fees to make people enter countries through 'dunki routes'. Action was taken by Amritsar police based on complaints against these agents operating from the city. Licences of some IELTS centres were also cancelled, reports stated
