Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria visited Anandpur Sahib to pay obeisance at the Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib in Rupnagar. He was honoured with a ‘Siropa’ and met Jathedar of Akal Takht. The religious procession marks the beginning of commemorative events related to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
