In Punjab's Baupur Mand area, the Beas river's change in course has started causing damage to several houses. Large cracks have appeared in the walls, forcing residents to evacuate their homes. Using a boat provided by Rajya Sabha Member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal, belongings from two houses were loaded and safely transported to a secure location.
