Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, along with MoS Railway Ravneet Singh Bittu, on Tuesday announced the construction of a new railway line between Rajpura and Mohali. The ministers also revealed the proposal for a new Vande Bharat Express, which will connect Firozpur Cantt, Bathinda, Patiala and Delhi. According to Vaishnaw, new railway line in Punjab will cost around ₹443 crore.
