Tragedy has struck the town of Nadala in Kapurthala district, where renowned Punjabi singer Surinder Singh Bakarpuri was found dead. He allegedly hung himself. According to SHO Ranjit Singh, no suicide note was recovered from the scene. The exact reason behind this extreme step remains unclear.
