Radioactive water from the UK's nuclear weapons storage site at Coulport leaked into sea following several burst pipes, reports stated. The Scottish Environment Protection Agency said the incident, which released low levels of tritium into Loch Long near Glasgow, was due to "shortfalls in maintenance" by the Royal Navy. The depot stores nuclear warheads for UK's fleet of Trident submarines.
