Union Minister Ramdas Athawale accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray of "insulting" the Hindu community by not visiting the Maha Kumbh. Urging Hindu voters to "boycott" them, he further said they skipped Maha Kumbh despite always wanting Hindu votes. Hindu voters taught them a lesson in the recently held elections, he added.
