Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi attended 2 out of 10 meetings of Parliamentary Committee on Defence, of which he is a member, in 18th Lok Sabha, News18 reported, citing Parliament record. He has been absent from 80% of the meetings including the one on defence PSUs like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). He criticised PM Modi in 2019 for "weakening" HAL.
