Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi criticised the Indian education system while interacting with students in Peru, claiming that it favours the upper caste. Rahul also alleged that the Indian education system doesn't represent the history and tradition of middle castes, lower castes, and adivasis. He added that education has become expensive in India.
