BJP MP Anurag Thakur criticised Rahul Gandhi over his allegations against the Election Commission and objection to the SIR in Bihar, saying he wants to save his "ghuspaithiye (infiltrator) voters". "They spread rumours and protect ghuspaithiye. SIR is to protect the voting rights of actual voters of India," he stated. Thakur added, "After every defeat, Congress kept finding new excuses."
