Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah criticised the Centre over the recent railway fare hike and demanded its immediate rollback. "Railway fares hiked!! Who bears the brunt? The daily wage workers, students, small traders, and...common man," he posted on X. Accusing the BJP of "double standards", he added, "Let the trains run...not the people’s patience." The revised fares took effect on July 1.
