The 1993 batch IPS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, Sonali Mishra, has become the first woman Director General of the Railway Protection Force (RPF). She will succeed Manoj Yadava, who will superannuate on July 31 and head the body until her superannuation on October 31, 2026. Mishra is currently posted as the ADG (Selection) with the Madhya Pradesh Police.
