The Railways reportedly said it had warned Public Works Department (PWD) last year that it'll give bad image to engineers if technical improvements aren't done in Bhopal's 90° railway overbridge. "The construction would also increase the risk of accidents," Railways' letter to PWD read. "An alternative design was also proposed...but PWD did not respond to this," a Railway official said.
