Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that Railways will soon start using e-Aadhaar authentication for Tatkal ticket bookings. "This will help genuine users get confirmed tickets," he said. Railways had said they deployed anti-bot systems to help genuine users. "During the tatkal booking window...bot traffic accounts for up to 50% of login attempts in the first five minutes," it said.
