Rajasthan High Court on Monday ordered municipal corporations across the state to conduct a special drive to remove stray dogs and other animals from roads while ensuring "minimum physical harm". This comes after the Supreme Court ordered authorities in Delhi NCR to pick up all stray dogs within eight weeks, put them in shelters and not release them again.
