The Kashimira Police in Mumbai's Mira-Bhayandar have filed an FIR against seven workers of Raj Thackeray's party, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), for allegedly assaulting a sweet shop owner for not speaking Marathi. Those booked include the party's Joint Secretary from the Mira-Bhayandar city, Karan Kandangire. The incident was recorded on video and went viral on social media. Investigations are ongoing.
