Rajasthan Assembly passed the 'Rajasthan Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Bill' on Tuesday amid protests by the Opposition. "There are strict provisions regarding imprisonment from 7 years to life imprisonment," state Minister Jogaram Patel said. Meanwhile, another minister Avinash Gehlot accused the Congress party of boycotting discussion on the law due to its appeasement politics.
