A college student from Rajasthan has paid ₹15,000 deposit and filed a nomination for the post of Vice President after Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned from the position a few days ago. Jalaluddin earlier fought panchayat-level elections once but lost by a single vote. He said that he knows his nomination would be cancelled, but he likes to contest elections.
