A village in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer remained tense since a farmer was murdered after he allegedly tried to stop people from hunting deer. Farmer Khet Singh was attacked with sharp weapons while he was sleeping in his field on September 2. Following the murder, angry villagers set fire to four cabins, including a tyre and tube shop linked to the accused.
