Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has formed a committee for India's 'Mission Sudarshan Chakra', announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Independence Day. This mission aims to develop an indigenous Iron Dome-like air defence system with advanced technologies and multi-layered defence systems by 2035 to protect critical civil and defence infrastructure like ISRO and nuclear power plants.
