Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Morocco on September 22-23, the Ministry of Defence announced. This will mark the first-ever visit by an Indian Defence Minister to the North African nation. Singh will also inaugurate the first-ever Indian defence manufacturing plant in Africa. The facility by Tata Advanced Systems Maroc will manufacture Wheeled Armoured Platform (WhAP) 8x8.
