Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers' meeting in China's Qingdao city from June 25 to 26. Singh will urge the bloc's members to cooperate consistently in eliminating terrorism and extremism in the region. This is the Defence Minister's first visit to China after the military standoff along the LAC in eastern Ladakh in 2020.
