Ranchi's Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park, popularly known as Birsa Zoo, has welcomed a pair of Asiatic lions from the Nandanvan Zoo and Safari in Chattisgarh's Naya Raipur. The 14-year-old lion has been named Abhay and the four-year-old lioness is named Shabri, according to an official statement. The zoo also brought a pair of four-year-old crocodiles.
