Rani Gaidinliu, known as the Joan of Arc of the Naga hills, led a revolt against colonial oppression from a young age as a part of the Heraka religious movement. She spent 14 years in prison and was dubbed the "Queen of the Nagas" by Jawaharlal Nehru. Her legacy inspires marginalised women to challenge norms and be empowered.
