At Nagpur, Vidarbha defeated the Rest of India by 93 runs to win their third Irani Cup. Chasing 361 for a win, RoI began the fifth day on 30-2. They slipped to 80-5 and 133-6 before Yash Dhull counter-attacked with 92, and was supported by Manav Suthar's half-century. But Harsh Dubey's 4-73 ensured Vidarbha came out as the winning side.
