The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on Tuesday told the court that actress Ranya Rao confessed during interrogation that money to purchase gold was sent to her through hawala. Ranya's bail order was reserved for March 27. Notably, gold worth ₹12.56 crore was seized from Ranya at Kempegowda International Airport on March 3 upon her arrival from Dubai.
