A jail in Haryana's Faridabad mistakenly released Nitesh Pandey, who is accused of raping a nine-year-old boy after mixing-up his name with another inmate, also named Nitesh, charged in a petty crime case. The matter came to light when the other inmate asked why he hadn't been released. A police officer said that Pandey "vanished" after being released.
