A 33-year-old man, previously accused of raping and murdering a six-year-old, sexually assaulted and killed a seven-year-old girl in Thane’s Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. The accused was caught while trying to escape to Bihar on October 1. Police are investigating how he managed to evade custody earlier.
