Ride-hailing firms Rapido and Uber resumed bike taxi services in Karnataka on Thursday, over two months after their operations were suspended in the state. This came on cues from the Karnataka HC after it termed the reasoning behind the ban on bike taxis as "legally untenable" and "thin". State Transport minister Ramalinga Reddy has opposed the resumption of services.
