Rapper and Kathmandu mayor Balendra Shah who is being backed by Gen Z protestors to be next Nepal PM had met US Ambassador to the country Dean R Thompson in February last year. The meeting took place at Shah's office, where various mutual issues were discussed. Thompson had invited Shah to US to foster stronger ties between the two nations.
