Scientists have rediscovered Agrostophyllum flavidum, a rare Yellow-Flowered Grass-Leaf Orchid, in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang district—34 years after it was first found in Meghalaya’s Khasi Hills. The endangered orchid was spotted growing in temperate forests near Chaksam and Khyed villages, marking its first confirmed record outside Meghalaya.
