Islamic cleric Maulana Sajid Rashidi, who allegedly made objectionable and misogynistic remarks against senior Samajwadi Party leader and Lok Sabha MP Dimple Yadav, was attacked by a few SP workers at a news studio on Tuesday. Visuals showed party workers slapping Rashidi. The incident follows an FIR filed against him by Lucknow police on Sunday.
