Simone Tata, mother of Noel Tata and stepmother of Tata Sons' ex-chairman Ratan Tata, passed away aged 95 on Friday. She's known for transforming Lakmé into one of India's most recognisable beauty brands. Tata had been recovering from an illness and was brought to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital earlier this August after initial treatment at King's Hospital in Dubai.
