RBI said that it has imposed penalties on five lenders, including ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda and Axis Bank, over violations of regulatory norms. ICICI Bank has been imposed a ₹97.80-lakh penalty for non-compliance with the 'Cyber Security Framework in Banks' and the KYC norms. Bank of Baroda has been imposed ₹61.40-lakh penalty for non-compliance with "customer service in banks".
