Nikhil Sosale, the marketing head of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, has approached Karnataka High Court challenging his arrest in connection with the stampede outside M Chinnaswamy Stadium that claimed 11 lives. Sosale's petition argued his arrest was not based on any investigation and appears to have been the result of political pressure. Sosale was arrested at the Kempegowda International Airport.
