Kerala reached Ranji Trophy final for the first time owing to two-run first-innings lead against Gujarat in the 2024-25 semi-final. Kerala were dismissed for 457 in first innings. Gujarat were dismissed for 455 after Arzan Nagwaswalla got out for 10(48). Arzan played aggressive shot which hit helmet of short-leg fielder and rebounded to Sachin Baby, who completed catch at slips.
