Following heavy rain and waterlogging, the IMD issued a red alert for Mumbai today. The red alert is in place for Borivali, Thane, Kalyan, Mulund, Powai, Santa Cruz, Chembur, Worli, Navi Mumbai, and Colaba. Meanwhile, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has declared a holiday for all schools on Monday due to heavy rain, including those with afternoon shifts.
