Tourists visiting Mussoorie must now register their details on a portal created by Uttarakhand Tourism Department at the time of check-in, District Tourism Officer Brijendra Pandey said. The rule, effective from Wednesday, requires hotels and other stays to first register themselves and then upload guest details during check-in, he added. The move aimed to deal with overcrowding, Pandey said.
