Isha Ambani-led Reliance Retail announced that the company has acquired US-based home appliance manufacturer Kelvinator to amplify its range of offerings in India's fast-growing consumer durables sector. The firm said that it aims to combine its retail network with Kelvinator’s legacy of "innovation" and "trusted" performance. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
