Repealing of laws like triple talaq, sedition and striking down of Section 377 will be part of CBSE's Legal Studies curriculum from the 2026-27 academic session, the officials said. The enactment of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita will also be part of curriculum. "Textbooks will be designed according to modern, engaging pedagogy aligned with...new National Education Policy (NEP)," a CBSE official said.
