75 years ago, the Constituent Assembly adopted Rabindra Nath Tagore's 'Jana Gana Man' as the National Anthem of India. Often an allegation is made that the lines 'Bharat Bhagya Vidhata' are a tribute to King George V. This incorrect claim stems from misreporting by British Press who confused it with another song 'Badshah Hamara' sang at King's Darbar.
