Afghan (Taliban) Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, who is on an India visit, said on Sunday that he requested the Indian government to open the Wagah border between India and Pakistan. Calling the Wagah border "the closest and fastest trade route between India and Afghanistan", Muttaqi added he also discussed how to navigate the sanctions imposed on the Chabahar port.
